External modernisation works and partial demolition and extensions of an existing building including construction of an additional storey and all associated builders work to provide a respite care accommodation centre.

We developed all 27 houses on this high-quality estate, reviving a central area of this ancient seaside harbour village. Each has three bedrooms, a driveway and a garden, built around quiet winding roads. They provide ideal residences for families, attracting the lifeblood and ensuring the future of this community.

We were delighted to be commissioned by the owner of this property, who now lives on the site. The former farm was converted into six dwellings with stables and paddocks for residents’ horses and to provide livery services.  Existing stonework was underpinned in most places – and in some parts was rebuilt from scratch – to preserve the integrity of the original architecture.

These 43 pre-war prefabricated council houses have been almost completely rebuilt to exacting standards on behalf of the Local Authority and using European funding.  Each has a brand new fitted kitchen, widened doorways with ramps for disabled access and walk-in shower rooms on the ground floor. The elderly residents are thrilled with their new ideal homes!

We were awarded the Federation Master Builder of the Year Award (2006) for Energy Efficiency and Waste Minimisation for this development
